Austin Area Land Grants, ca. 1870

This map predates incorporation by nearly a century. It compiles the original land patents — granted to settlers, veterans, and rangers — into a single readable reference for the area that would later become West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, and the surrounding Eanes ISD attendance zone. The Davenport tract is shown along the bluffs above the Colorado.
