Polk Shelton
Travis County rancher and brother of Emmett Shelton Sr., a partner in the early business ventures along Bee Cave Road during the 1930s and a recurring figure in the Our Westlake oral history recordings.
Polk Shelton (1900–1979) appears throughout Emmett Shelton Sr.'s recorded recollections as a partner in the rehabilitation of the old Moose Head Lodge along Bee Cave Road and in the later land acquisitions that opened the western shore of the Colorado.
