Camp Craft Road
A north-south route running along the eastern bluffs of the West Lake area, named for the family that ranched the surrounding hills in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Camp Craft Road traces a north-south line across the eastern half of the original Davenport tract. Like Bee Cave Road, it began as a ranch trail and was paved only in stages as residential subdivisions opened up between the 1950s and the 1970s. The road's intersection with Westlake Drive sits near where the original Davenport ranch house stood.
